I’m very tempted to get a Badger 2040 W to tinker with

Could be quite interesting to pair it with a programmable RFID board, and make it a flexible badge and ID card, or something that can NFC over contact details to a phone.

Maybe play with BLE to do location/room tracking with it, once the SDK supports BT

A little pricey, but could be a fun little project. Anyone have one of these and have you done anything interesting with it?

I was just about to pull the trigger and buy one, but the bare version is OOS, and I don’t really want to spend £6 extra for a lanyard, battery box and cable…
