On Saturday discussions about usage of the workshop popped up, myself and some others mentioned an interest on getting the wood working shop ‘running’, in the sense that regular use could be made of the space for personal projects and backspace projects.
So I thought I’d start this thread for the woodworkers to put their hands up and get to know each others skills a little.
I’ve had a personal woodwork shop for about 7 years, but had to close it down due to costs and COVID. I’m proficient in the following:
Wood turning
Bandsaw usage
Mitre saw
Pillar drills
Belt sanders
basic hand tool working
Treatment / aging of raw wood
Finishing / varnishing
More than happy to do small class groups for wood turning and some safety training on some of the machines.
